The Pig on the Hill is no longer just about great food and drink and a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy it in. We are now a fantastic place to stay too!
Pot Belly Saddleback Old Spot
Within the spacious country grounds of our family pub, we have built 3 beautiful cedar cabins, especially designed and crafted for The Pig. The Pot Belly, Old Spot and Saddleback self catering cabins offer luxury two bedroom North Devon holiday cottage accommodation. Benefiting from sweeping views of countryside and the coastline our North Devon holiday lets come with all the amenities and tasty attractions that come from being sited within walking distance of our award winning gastro pub.
Functional and stylish kitchen facilities and a log burner make for a homely feel if you're self catering, while the pub's extensive lunch and dinner menus provide a delicious alternative (while saving on the washing up!). Each cabin comes with a private sun terrace that has its own hot tub, and is finished and furnished to a very high spec, with internet TV provided. Set away from the Pig on the Hill pub, privacy and relaxation are top of the holiday let check list.
In-house, the Pig offers activities such as traditional skittles and use of your very own boules piste, with plenty of space for kids to run around in (as well as farmyard animals to see). From the pub there are circular walks to the coast and access to quiet country lanes for cycling.
The holiday cabins' proximity to local beaches - from the resort town of Westward Ho! to secluded coves around Clovelly and Hartland - this is a great destination to make the most of the North Devon coastline. Whether your passion is surfing, sandcastle building, beachcombing or plain old sun bathing, there is a beach with your name on it! The pub is also close to popular North Devon tourist attractions for families - with The Big Sheep and The Ultimate Adventure Centre on the doorstep. For couples and groups of friends, the nearby town of Bideford is seeped in picturesque charm and history, while the unique cliff side village of Clovelly looks much the same now as it did a century ago.
